Air India introduces Easy Connect flights from Amritsar to 27 foreign locations, including check-in, immigration, and luggage transfer via Delhi.
With the launch of Air India's Easy Connect service from Amritsar, foreign passengers may finish immigration and check in before departing Punjab. With the new service, travelers traveling through Delhi won't have to change terminals or pick up and recheck their bags before continuing on.
This eliminates one of the most annoying aspects of an international connection for travelers from Punjab, particularly those going to the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe.

Under the Easy Connect programme, passengers departing from Amritsar can:

Complete immigration at Amritsar Airport.
Transfer through Delhi as international transit passengers.

Two Daily Easy Connect Flights From Amritsar
Air India has scheduled two daily flights for the programme:
AI1113: Amritsar (09:10 AM) - Delhi (10:40 AM)
AI1115 from Amritsar (10:00 PM) to Delhi (11:20 PM).
These flights connect to Air India's overseas departures within four hours after arriving in Delhi.

Amritsar joins Varanasi on the Easy Connect network. Air India said Ahmedabad, Goa, Kochi, and a number of other Indian cities would be included in the coming weeks as the program grows beyond Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
