EVA Air will begin nonstop flights between Taipei and Delhi on December 1, giving Indian travelers a new direct route to Taiwan and an alternate gateway to North America.
The Taiwanese carrier will fly five trips per week with Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Bookings are now open through EVA Air and travel agencies.

The new route will make EVA Air the sole Taiwan-based airline that operates nonstop passenger flights to India, providing another choice for travelers who now connect through other Asian hubs.

Eligible Indian nationals traveling to the United States or Canada may also be eligible for Taiwan's conditional visa-waiver transit program, which could make a brief layover in Taipei more convenient, according to the program's terms.
