Indian Passport, Visa, and Attestation Services in the UAE Will Stop for Five Days

Indian Passport, Visa, and Attestation Services in the UAE Will Stop for Five Days
Before Al Hind formally takes over passport, visa, and attestation operations on July 1, Indian consular services in the UAE will stop for five days.

Indians in the UAE have a limited amount of time to take action if they want to renew their passport, apply for a visa, or finish document attestation. As Indian missions transition to a new outsourced service provider, regular consular services will not be accessible from June 26 to June 30.

Al Hind Tours & Travel LLC will formally take over passport, visa, and attestation services throughout the United Arab Emirates starting on July 1, 2026, according to confirmation from the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi. Until then, on June 25, after business hours, current providers BLS International and SGIVS Global would no longer accept new applications.Five Days Without Regular Appointments

Applicants will not be able to schedule or attend regular appointments for the following during the transition period:
Services for passports
Services for visas
Services for document attestation

Applications must be submitted by June 25 for anyone intending to travel, renew a passport, or legalize documents; otherwise, services will start under the new system on July 1 , travel schedules may be impacted if documents are about to expire for the sizable Indian expatriate community in the United Arab Emirates, which includes frequent travelers who fly between Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah and Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kochi.

There will still be emergency services available.

Emergency passport, visa, and attestation services would continue throughout the five-day ban, Indian missions have clarified. Candidates in need of immediate help can get in touch with:

Official email addresses for embassies and consulatesJuly 1st is the launch date of the new appointment portal.

On July 1, the day it opens for business, Al Hind Tours and Travel will introduce a new online appointment system.

Indian nationals are encouraged to only heed official information from the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Indian Consulate General in Dubai, as the new supplier will alter appointment schedules and service booking procedures.16 Service Facilities in the United Arab Emirates

Al Hind will run 16 consular service centers in all seven emirates, providing applicants with a larger physical service network than previously, according to earlier releases.

A larger tendency is also reflected in this change. Instead of just adding additional counters, governments are increasingly reevaluating outsourced visa and consular contracts, placing more of a focus on digital booking systems and broader service coverage.

What Indians in the UAE Should Do Right Now: Before June 25, submit any outstanding applications for a passport, visa, or attestation.
Non-urgent document work should not be scheduled between June 26 and June 30.
On July 1, Al Hind's appointment portal will become live.

For updates, exclusively use the official channels of the Indian embassy. Instead of viewing this as an issue, we perceive it as a brief inconvenience. A wider 16-center network might make consular services more accessible for Indians throughout the United Arab Emirates, and the five-day gap is tolerable.
