There is another significant constraint. A visa granted in late 2026 may still be valid when Hajj 2027 arrives, but it cannot be activated for admission during the pilgrimage season.
The restriction is in effect from the first of Dhu Al-Qi'dah until the thirteenth of Dhu al-Hijjah.
That distinction is easy to overlook when arranging a year-long pilgrimage itinerary. Saudi Arabia has progressively separated visa validity from actual entry eligibility, especially during the strictly restricted Hajj period.
