South Korea expands visa services to six centers in South Asia.
South Korea currently provides visa application services through six centers throughout South Asia, including four in India.
South Korean visa applicants now have access to six Visa Application Centers in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, four of which serve Indian travelers.
The centers are situated in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Dhaka, and Colombo. South Korean Ambassador to India Lee Seong-ho opened the new Korea Visa Application Center in New Delhi on September 15, 2026.

VFS Global has been providing administrative visa services for South Korea in India since 2011. The current expansion in Dhaka and Colombo brings its South Asian network to six centers spread over three nations.
The expanded network now includes nine South Korean Visa Application Centers in six places worldwide.

The centers manage the administrative part of the visa procedure, which includes:
Collecting visa application forms.
Accepting supporting papers depending on the relevant checklist.
Enrolling Biometric Information
VFS Global does not make visa decisions. Applications are processed and decided by the appropriate South Korean authorities.
The extension comes as South Korea works to make its visa application network more accessible in South Asia.
