Thailand will update consular and visa costs for Indian applicants starting on April 27.

With effect from April 27, 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi has updated visa, legalization, and consular service prices in India. The update includes passport and document services, as well as tourist, non-immigrant, SMART, and long-term visas. Transit visas now cost ₹2,500, while long-term resident permits cost ₹1,40,000.

With effect from April 27, 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi has published updated costs for legalization, consular services, and visa applications. Until further notice, all applicants in India will be subject to the revised prices.

The embassy stated that in addition to document legalization and passport-related services, the change includes a number of visa categories, including tourist, non-immigrant, SMART, and long-term resident possibilities.

Revisions to all kinds of visa fees
Both short-term and long-term categories have undergone modifications in the revised visa fee schedule.

3,000 for a single entry tourist visa
13,500 for a multiple-entry tourist visa
Single entry, non-immigrant visa: 7,000
Multiple-entry non-immigrant visa: 13,500
30,000 non-immigrant visa with five years of numerous entries (long stay)

SMART Visa: 30,000 for one year of multiple entrance
SMART Visa: 60,000 for two years of repeated entrance
3-year multiple entry SMART visa—90,000
1,20,000 for a 4-year multiple entry SMART visa
1,40,000 for a Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa
30,000 for a destination Thailand visa (DTV).

Legalization and fees for consular services
Additionally, the embassy has updated the costs for passport services and document legalization.

"The Royal Thai Embassy and the Royal Thai Consulates-General in India will implement the new rate of visa fees, legalization fees, and consular service fees starting on April 27, 2026, until further announcement," the embassy stated.

When filing requests for visas or consular services through the embassy and its authorized channels, applicants must adhere to the updated pricing schedule.
