The US expands its $750 Fast-Track Visa Appointment Pilot to six countries.
The United States has expanded its $750 fast-track visa appointment trial to six nations, with qualifying B1/B2 applicants receiving interviews within 10 business days.
The United States has expanded its $750 paid fast-track visa appointment experiment to six nations, allowing qualifying tourist and business visa applicants to schedule an interview within 10 working days, subject to availability.
The initiative, which began in Mexico in July, now includes Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Honduras. India does not participate in the pilot program.Atención | ¿Dónde será la NUEVA sede de entrevistas para visa en CDMX?Where Fast Track Service Is Available

The most recent expansion was implemented on August 18 at US embassies and consulates in Canada, as well as US missions in Bogota, Guatemala City, San Jose, and Tegucigalpa.
The trial is set to run until December 31, 2026, with the US Department of State leaving open the potential of adding more places.

What does the $750 fee cover?
Eligible B visa applicants can pay an extra $750 per applicant to reschedule their interview for within the next 10 working days.
This is all it does. The cost does not expedite visa processing following the interview and does not increase the applicant's chances of approval.
Applicants go through the same eligibility checks, security screening, and visa decision process as everyone else.

Applicants must schedule a regular appointment first.
The fast track option cannot be purchased directly. Applicants must first
Complete the standard US visa application process.
Pay the normal $185 MRV cost.
Plan a regular interview.
Sign in to their visa account and choose Request Expedite.
If the option is available, select Paid Expedite.
Every day, a limited number of expedited appointments are made available. Once an applicant has chosen a spot, they have 10 minutes to pay the $750 cost and confirm it.¿Cuál es la vigencia de la visa americana y cómo renovarla? - VisamericanThe $750 fee is non-refundable.
Paying for an accelerated appointment does not ensure a US visa or speedier processing following the interview. The fee is also non-refundable and non-transferable, even if the application is rejected.
Applicants who use the service have the option of selecting premium document delivery, if applicable, for no additional price.

Who Can Use the Paid Expedite Option?
The program is designed for eligible B1/B2 visa candidates who require an interview. Applicants can use it.
Creating a new interview appointment.
Holding an existing appointment with a valid MRV fee receipt.
Whose normal emergency visiting visa appointment request was declined, assuming they fit the program standards.
This option is not accessible for interview-waiver visa renewals.

Families spend $750 per person.
The $750 fee applies to each applicant, not each appointment or family group. In addition to the standard visa expenses, a family of four would spend $3,000 for accelerated interviews.
Groups can choose to expedite only a few individuals rather than everyone traveling together.

Missing an appointment means Losing the Fee
Paid expedited appointments cannot be rescheduled. Anyone who cancels or misses the appointment forfeits the $750 cash and must pay an additional $750 if they want a new expedited slot.
Applicants who paid their original MRV fee less than a year ago may be able to schedule another regular appointment without having to pay the application fee again.

Travunited Take:
We see this as beneficial for applicants in participating nations with tight travel deadlines, but Indian travelers stand to benefit nothing at this time. For India, traditional US visa appointment methods are still the only alternative.
