The Benefits of the Visa
Successful applicants are granted an F-2 resident visa, which enables them to permanently remain in South Korea with their immediate family. Who Is Eligible to Apply?
The typical prerequisites for highly qualified individuals are as follows:
a doctorate or master's degree from one of the top 100 universities in the world
Eight years or more of work experience
three years or more of experience working for a top 500 firm
Working for a high-tech South Korean corporation
a salary that is at least three times the gross national income per person in South Korea
Professors and researchers will be assessed based on additional criteria under the amended regulations, such as:
