Vietnam's Digital Arrival System Now Includes Nha Trang Airport: View Complete List

Travelers can now complete pre-arrival procedures online before landing at Nha Trang's Cam Ranh Airport thanks to Vietnam's digital arrival card system.

It's now little simpler to fly into the beach capital of Vietnam. The primary entry point to Nha Trang, Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR), has been added to Vietnam's Pre-Arrival Information (PAI) system. Foreign visitors can input their information online prior to departure and receive a QR code to show at immigration.

This could result in shorter lines at the border and one less form for international visitors to Nha Trang's expanding resort sector

What Is the Pre-Arrival Information System in Vietnam?

Instead of thinking of PAI as a visa, think of it as a digital arrival card. Up to three days prior to their arrival in Vietnam, travelers can submit personal information, journey details, and stay-related data online. After it's finished, the system creates a QR code that should be printed for presentation when you get there or saved on your phone.

The action is a component of Vietnam's broader initiative to digitize border processes and ease traffic at large airports. Vietnam's PAI System is currently in use at airports.

Vietnam's Pre-Arrival Information System is accessible at five international airports now that Cam Ranh is on board:

Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN), Ho Chi Minh City Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), Hanoi Da Nang International Airport (DAD), Da Nang Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC), Phu Quoc Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR), and Nha Trang

A significant portion of Vietnam's foreign arrivals, particularly those from India, are handled by these airports.Vietnam's Border Policy: A Clear Path

Vietnam is now using digital pre-arrival systems, as many nations are doing to handle the growing number of tourists. The trend is evident: fewer paper forms, more sophisticated data collection, and quicker airport processing.

In the upcoming months, more airports and border checkpoints should join the system as Vietnam continues to draw record numbers of tourists.Things Indian Travelers Need to Keep in Mind

Vietnam's visa requirements are not replaced by PAI. Before departing, Indian passport holders who require a visa must still obtain a valid Vietnam e-Visa or another qualifying visa. To expedite entry procedures, the online declaration is merely an extra step in the arrival process.

Additionally, travelers who qualify for visa-free entry must continue to adhere to current regulations on the validity of their passport, the duration of their stay, and the purpose of their trip.

We consider this to be a useful improvement for travelers, particularly during the busiest holiday seasons. Although it won't take the place of a visa, it should speed up and ease the process of getting to Vietnam.
