Day 1 / Kigali (Arrival):
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 / Kigali - Nyungwe National Park:
After breakfast, drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park or opt for a private charter flight from Kigali (not included). After settling in, enjoy a canopy walk to spot various wildlife & bird species. Overnight in Nyungwe Forest. (B, L, D)
Day 3 / Nyungwe National Park:
After breakfast, transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park for Chimpanzee trekking. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Nyungwe Forest. (B, L, D)
Day 4 / Nyungwe National Park - Akagera National Park:
After breakfast, fly by private charter (not included) from Nyungwe to Akagera National Park. On arrival, transfer to your lodge or Ruzizi Tented Camp. Enjoy an afternoon game drive spotting wildlife and birdlife. Overnight in Akagera. (B, L, D)
Day 5 / Akagera National Park:
After breakfast, enjoy an early morning game drive in Akagera National Park, where you will spot wildlife. After lunch, take a boat ride on Lake Ihema, cruising past hippos and crocodiles along the scenic shoreline. Overnight in Akagera. (B, L, D)
Day 6 / Akagera National Park - Volcanoes National Park:
After breakfast, depart for Volcanoes National Park, with an option to take a private charter (not included) from Akagera National Park. Upon arrival, spend the afternoon at leisure or explore Ruhengeri. Dinner & overnight at the lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 7 / Volcanoes National Park:
After an early breakfast, drive to Volcanoes National Park for a mountain Gorilla trekking experience led by an expert ranger guide. In the afternoon, you may explore Ruhengeri town & the market. Dinner & overnight at the lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 8 / Volcanoes National Park - Kigali (Departure):
After breakfast, you will drive or fly to Kigali with a private charter (Not included). Upon arrival, visit the genocide museum & take a short city tour. You will depart for the Airport & take your flight back home. (B)
