Day 1/ Reykjavik (Arrival):
Welcome to Reykjavik, Iceland. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Overnight in Reykjavik.
Day 2/ Reykjavik - Hveragerdi area:
After breakfast, start the day with a short city sightseeing tour of Reykjavik. Next proceed to Gullfoss, the “Golden Waterfall”, and Geysir hot spring area to see the famous Geysir and Strokkur. The day ends in Hveragerdi. Dinner and overnight in Hveragerdi area. (B, D)
Day 3/ Hveragerdi - Kirkjubaejarklaustur:
After breakfast, visit Seljalandsfoss & Skogafoss waterfalls before proceeding to Kirkjubaejarklaustur. Dinner & overnight in Kirkjubaejarklaustur area. (B, D)
Day 4/ Kirkjubaejarklaustur:
After breakfast, the day starts with a drive through beautiful scenery towards Vatnajokull, the Fjallsarlon and Jokulsarlon lagoons. Continue on your way, passing by several outlet , glaciers from Vatnajokull. Along the route you will also get magnificent (Contd) views of Skaftafell, a glacier-crowned wonderland within Vatnajokull National Park. Dinner & overnight in Kirkjubaejarklaustur area. (B, D)
Day 5/ Kirkjubaejarklaustur - Thjorsardalur:
After breakfast, head to Thjorsardalur, a scenic valley that holds Iceland's longest river. Dinner and overnight in Thjorsardalur area. (B, D)
Day 6/ Thjorsardalur - Myvatn area:
After breakfast, it's time to head north through the very heart of Iceland. Discover the hidden treasures of Iceland's uninhabited interior along the black sands of the Sprengisandur highland route. Proceed to Myvatn area for dinner and overnight stay. (B, D)
Day 7/ Lake Myvatn area:
After breakfast, travel to the unforgettable Lake Myvatn area, a geological wonderland and paradise for bird watchers. Drive around the Tjornes peninsula, the northernmost point of your journey. In the afternoon, drive to the town of Husavik where you have the option to experience the hot spring bath named GeoSea. Dinner and overnight in Lake Myvatn area. (B, D)
Day 8/ Lake Myvatn area:
After breakfast, visit the Askja Caldera, (a sunken crater) located in Vatnajokull National Park's Odadahraun desert area. During the day you will visit Drekagil, the Dragon valley, famous for its strangely shaped lava formations. Dinner and overnight in Lake Myvatn area. (B, D)
Day 9/ Lake Myvatn area - Laugarbakki area
After breakfast, proceed to visit Godafoss (“Waterfall of the Gods”), then continue to Akureyri, the vibrant “Capital of the North” followed to the Skagafjordur area. Dinner and overnight in Laugarbakki area. (B, D)
Day 10/ Laugarbakki - Snaefellsnes:
After breakfast, your journey continues around Vatnsnes Peninsula & then visit the Viking Age house at the Eric the Red Museum before heading to Snaefellsnes. Dinner and overnight in Snaefellsnes area. (B, D)
Day 11/ Snaefellsnes - Reykjavik:
After breakfast, you will explore the amazing variety of natural landscapes in Snaefellsjokull National Park. After all the visits, the journey leads you back to Reykjavik. Overnight in Reykjavik. (B)
Day 12/ Reykjavik (Departure):
After breakfast, transfer to the airport on your own for your next destination. (B)
