Rome (Arrival)
Greetings from Rome! After meeting your driver at the airport, head to the hotel. Explore the city's famous sites from an open-top bus with multilingual audio commentary by using your one-day ticket for the I Love Rome Hop-on-Hop-off City Tour. After spending the evening relaxing, head back to your hotel. Spend the night in Rome.
Rome – Florence
After breakfast, take a luxurious vehicle from your accommodation to Assisi, a medieval town encircled by old walls, at 7:15 a.m. Savor your meal in Assisi. Proceed to Siena, a UNESCO-listed city renowned for the Palio horse race and the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo. Later, make your way to Florence via the countryside of Tuscany. Travel to Bologna after breakfast. From Piazza Malpighi, stroll to the Palazzo del Podestà and Piazza Maggiore. Arrive in Venice (Mestre) in the afternoon and settle into your accommodation. Spend the night in Mestre, Venice. (B)
Venice
Enjoy your ride to Piazza San Marco after breakfast, where you may see the most famous locations, including the fabled "Bridge of Sighs" and the Palazzo dei Dogi. After the walking tour, eat a light lunch, take your time exploring Venice's canals in the afternoon, and then head back to the hotel. Spend the night in Mestre, Venice. (B, L)
Venice – Rome
After breakfast, leave Venice and head to Montepulciano, a hilltop town famous for "Vino Nobile," via Tuscany. Savor a bottle of excellent Tuscan wine and lunch at a typical restaurant. After breakfast, take a coach to Pompeii in the south. Savor the authentic Neapolitan pizza for lunch! Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pompeii, one of the most important archeological sites in the world, after lunch. Take advantage of a guided tour of the intriguing remains and skip-the-line entry. Afterwards, take a trip to Sorrento for dinner along the Sorrentine Coast. Spend the night in Sorrento. (B, L, D)
Sorrento
Prepare for a thrilling trip to the island of Capri after breakfast. Take a rowboat to the charming Blue Grotto, depending on the weather and water conditions. After that, you have free time to explore the island independently and have lunch (which is not included). In the afternoon, head back to Sorrento. Dinner and a hotel stay for the night. (B, D)
Sorrento
Savor breakfast at your lodging. You can shop, sample local limoncello, and go on optional excursions in the morning. Around 4:00 pm in the afternoon, leave Sorrento for the trip back to Rome. Check into your hotel when you get there. Spend the night in Rome. (B)
