Day 1/ Reykjavik (Arrival):
Welcome to Reykjavik, Iceland. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Overnight in Reykjavik.
Day 2/ Reykjavik - Hveragerdi:
After breakfast, proceed for your city sightseeing tour of Reykjavik. After the tour, head to Lake Thingvallavatn & the Gullfoss, the “Golden Waterfall”. Later, visit Icelandic family farm & then proceed to Hveragerdi, a pretty town located in an active geothermal area. Dinner and overnight in Hveragerdi area. (B, D)
Day 3/ Hveragerdi - Vik:
After breakfast start your day by discovering the alluring Thjorsardalur valley, then visit Stong where a replica of a Viking-era longhouse was buried by a volcanic eruption of Hekla. Later drive along the South Shore of Iceland's beautiful farmlands. End the day in Vik area, Iceland's southernmost town. Dinner and overnight in Vik area. (B, D)
Day 4/ Vik Area - Hofn area:
After breakfast, you will be visiting the southern area of Vatnajokull National Park, visit Skaftafell region & Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. Overnight in Hofn area. (B)
Day 5/ Hofn - Egilsstadir area:
After breakfast, drive from Hofn through Almannaskard pass. The road brings you to Iceland's largest forest & a lake side in Egilsstadir town. Dinner & overnight in Egilsstadir area. (B, D)
Day 6/ Egilsstadir - Lake Myvatn Area:
After breakfast, explore the empty vastness of the highland desert plateau Modrudalsoraefi, desolate and yet hauntingly beautiful, as you head towards the Lake Myvatn area. Dinner and overnight in Myvatn area. (B, D)
Day 7/ Lake Myvatn Area - Akureyri:
After breakfast, start your day's adventure by visiting sites in the Myvatn area. Later, head to the magnificent Godafoss waterfall, then head to Akureyri, the colorful northern “capital“ of Iceland. Overnight in Akureyri. (B)
Day 8/ Akureyri - Borgarfjordur area:
After breakfast, proceed to Borgarfjordur, a region that has received international attention for its Viking history and beautiful volcanic and wooded scenery. Dinner and overnight in Borgarfjordur area. (B, D)
Day 9/ Borgarfjordur - Reykjavik:
Day 9/ Borgarfjordur - Reykjavik: After breakfast, head back to Reykjavik. Overnight in Reykjavik. (B)
