Kigali (Arrival)
After landing at Kigali International Airport, make your way to the accommodation. Take a tour of the city, stopping at the Genocide Memorial Center. Spend the night in Kigali.
Kigali – Nyungwe National Park
The hotel's breakfast. Get to the airport in time for your journey to Kamembe (not included). Private road transportation to the Nyungwe Forest lodge upon arrival. Take a canopy stroll in Nyungwe Forest after lunch. You may see a variety of animal species from the magnificent hanging platform. Spend the night in Nyungwe National Park. (B, L, D)
Nyungwe National Park
The lodge for breakfast. To track chimpanzees, take a road transfer to Cyamudongo Forest. After that, return to the resort for lunch. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing. Spend the night in Nyungwe National Park. (B, L, D)
Nyungwe National Park – Kigali – Musanze (Ruhengeri)
The lodge for breakfast. For your flight to Kigali, make your way to the airport (not included). Once there, drive to Musanze (Ruhengeri) over the picturesque Rwandan countryside. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing. Spend the night at Musanze. (B, L, D)
Musanze (Ruhengeri)
You will be driven to Volcanoes National Park following an early breakfast, where you will have a group briefing at 7:00 a.m. prior to your Golden Monkey Trek. After that, return to the resort for lunch. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing. Spend the night at Musanze. (B, L, D)
Musanze (Ruhengeri) – Kigali
You will be driven to Volcanoes National Park following an early breakfast, where you will attend a group briefing prior to your Gorilla Trek (permit not included). After that, return to the resort for lunch. After that, travel to Kigali via road. Kigali for dinner and the night. (B, L, D)
Kigali – Akagera National Park
Drive to Akagera National Park after breakfast. Enjoy a game drive to Magashi in time for lunch after arriving. Later, if you see any wildlife, take a boat ride or go on a game drive. Take a nighttime drive back to the camp while using trackers to look for leopards. Stay at the lodge and have dinner. (B, L, D)
Akagera National Park
Enjoy a wildlife drive after breakfast, perhaps in conjunction with a trip to the rhino boma. Go back to the camp for lunch or brunch. Afterwards, take a boat ride or go on a game drive, depending on whether you see any animals, and then go on a nighttime drive while tracking leopards. Stay at the lodge and have dinner. (B, L, D)
Akagera National Park – Kigali
Enjoy a leisurely morning after breakfast. Drive back to Kigali in the afternoon and settle into your hotel for the night. (B)
Kigali (Departure)
You will be driven to the airport for your departing flight after breakfast. (B)
