Day 1: Arrival in Lima – City Tour
Arrive at Jorge Chávez International Airport, Lima. Meet & greet by our local representative and transfer to the hotel. Later proceed for a half-day Lima city tour. Highlights: Plaza Mayor (UNESCO World Heritage Site) Government Palace & Cathedral of Lima San Francisco Monastery (external view) Miraflores district Love Park (Parque del Amor) with Pacific Ocean views Overnight stay in Lima.
Day 2: Lima – Fly to Cusco – Cusco City Tour
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco (former capital of the Inca Empire). On arrival, transfer to the hotel and time to acclimatize. Later enjoy a Cusco city tour. Highlights: Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun) Cusco Cathedral Sacsayhuamán Fortress Qenqo archaeological site Puka Pukara & Tambomachay Overnight stay in Cusco.
Day 3: Cusco – Sacred Valley Tour
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day Sacred Valley of the Incas tour. Highlights: Pisac ruins & traditional market Urubamba town Ollantaytambo archaeological site Continue to your hotel in the Sacred Valley. Overnight stay in Sacred Valley.
Day 4: Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu
Early breakfast. Transfer to the railway station and board the scenic train to Aguas Calientes. On arrival, take a shuttle bus to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Guided tour highlights: Temple of the Sun Temple of the Condor Intihuatana Stone Main Plaza & terraces Return to Aguas Calientes and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Aguas Calientes.
Day 5: Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco
After breakfast, free time in Aguas Calientes for local shopping or optional second visit to Machu Picchu (subject to permit). Later board the train back to Ollantaytambo / Poroy, followed by a road transfer to Cusco. Overnight stay in Cusco.
Day 6: Cusco – Leisure / Optional Excursions
Breakfast at the hotel. Day free for leisure or optional tours (at extra cost). Optional tours: Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) Maras Salt Mines & Moray Local markets & cultural experiences Overnight stay in Cusco.
Day 7: Cusco – Fly Back to Lima
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lima. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure or shopping. Overnight stay in Lima.
Day 8: Departure from Lima
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey with beautiful memories of South America.
