Day 1/ Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri (Arrival) - Gangtok (114 kms/ 4 hrs 30 min):
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport/ New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and drive to Gangtok. At an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim and is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Evening free for individual activity and leisure. Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 2/ Excursion Trip To Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (32 kms/ 1 hrs):
After breakfast, visit Baba Mandir dedicated to the memory of soldier Harbhajan Singh. Evening free for individual activity & leisure. Overnight in Gangtok. (B)
Day 3/ Gangtok - Pemayangtse (123 kms/ 6 hrs 30 min):
After breakfast, drive to Pemayangtse. It is a very small Himalayan village in West Sikkim. Pelling is the nearest motor able point from Mt. Kanchendzonga, worlds 03rd highest peak, offers a good sunrise and all day long view of Kanchendzonga and the entire Eastern Himalayan range. Evening free for individual activity and leisure. Overnight in Pemayangtse. (B)
Day 4/ Pemayangtse Local Sightseeing:
After breakfast, start your sightseeing in an around Pemayangtse, covering Rimbi Falls, Sacred Khecheodpalri Lake, Kanchendzonga Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, & Pemayangtse Monastery - the 2nd oldest monastery of Sikkim, Rabdentse Ruins & Darap Village. Evening free for individual activity and leisure. Overnight in Pemayangtse. (B)
Day 5/ Pemayangtse - Darjeeling (66.8 kms/ 2 hrs 30 min):
After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling. It is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature & charming Himalayan people. It is the place of Dorje, the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama- Religion. Surrounded by Tea gardens, this little town faces some of the Himalayas highest peaks. Take rest & then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Overnight in Darjeeling. (B)
Day 6/ Darjeeling Local Sightseeing:
After breakfast, start your sightseeing covering Ghoom Monastery; Batasia Loop War Memorial; Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center, Tenzing & Gombu Rock, drive past Tea Estate & Japanese Peace Pagoda. Walk around the Mall and Local Market. Evening Free for shopping & individual activity. Overnight in Darjeeling. (B)
Day 7/ Darjeeling - Kalimpong (54 kms/ 2 hrs):
After breakfast, drive to Kalimpong and later proceed for local sightseeing in and around Kalimpong City, Covering Zong Dog Palri Fo- Brong Monastery (Durpin Dara Monastery), Flower & Orchid Nurseries, Dello Hill. Evening free for individual activity. Overnight in Kalimpong. (B)
Day 8/ Kalimpong - New Jalpaiguri/ Bagdogra (Departure) (75 kms/ 3 hrs):
Morning after breakfast, transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport for the return journey. (B)
